Welcome to Spanish class!!! I am glad you are here and congratulations on your decision to take a foreign language at North Valleys High School.
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This class builds on concepts learned in Spanish and develop fundamental skills as listening, speaking,reading,
and writing.
Students will be able to communicate in a variety of topics as set into the world. The curriculum will include note taking, grammar, vocabulary study, open activities,journals,participation,oral presentations,homework, in class assignments, projects, and of course tests and quizzes.
The materials that you need to be successful in this class is a notebook and pencil; I will provide with the textbook and class paper practice.
PLEASE REMEMBER ALL WASHOE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT RULES
No electronic device, hat, food, gum or drinks in class. Follow dress code. Be on time, be prepared, follow directions and be ready to learn. Do not cause disruptions. Respect your teacher, yourself and peers. Do not destroy school properties.
ACADEMIC GRADE:
You can access to infinite campus to check your grade. Grades are bases on an accumulation of points and this will include journal, participation, homework, in class assignments, projects, test and quizzes, reading and writing, peaking and listening.
GRADING SCALE:
100-90= A 89-80=B 79-70=C 69-60=D 59-0= F
